Purple Scroll Debuts Majek Fashek Before And After The Rain

Purple Scroll, the latest publishing outfit in town, made its publishing debut with the book Majek Fashek: Before and After The Rain. 

Released October 18, 2023, the biography authored by veteran journalist, Azuka Jebose Molokwu, chronicles the life of Nigeria’s biggest Reggae star, Majek Fashek. Molokwu’s firsthand experience of Majek’s life, takes the reader deep into the artiste’s battle with alcoholism and undiagnosed schizophrenia. A poignant journey through the highs and lows of a music legend, it offers readers a unique perspective of the man behind the music.
