As concerns over land fraud and poorly regulated real estate deals continue to affect property buyers in Nigeria, a new generation of developers is stepping up to address the challenge by offering more transparent and legally sound alternatives.

One such company is DBEN Group, a real estate development and property management firm headquartered in Enugu, with a presence in Lagos, Asaba, Port Harcourt, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Founded by Edeh Amobi Beneth, an Enugu State-born developer, the firm has focused on providing clients with government-approved lands and professionally planned estates, aiming to eliminate the legal risks commonly associated with property acquisition.

According to information obtained from the company’s office on Devon Drive, GRA, Enugu, DBEN Group’s core offerings include verified documentation, secure title transfers, and estate projects developed to meet modern urban planning standards.

Industry watchers say the rise of companies like DBEN Group reflects a growing demand for trust and clarity in Nigeria’s real estate market, especially among young professionals and Nigerians in the diaspora looking to invest back home.

A statement from the company notes that its client base has steadily increased over the past two years, largely through referrals and word-of-mouth, due to its transparent procedures and commitment to post-sale support.

While land disputes and title inconsistencies remain a recurring issue in various parts of the country, DBEN Group claims its internal processes are designed to ensure that buyers receive complete documentation and legal backing for each transaction.

As part of its expansion, the company recently launched a new estate project, River Bank Estate, located in Ibagwa Nike, Enugu. The development is expected to provide buyers with a blend of accessibility, proper infrastructure, and verified ownership—further reinforcing DBEN Group’s mission to deliver secure and high-standard properties.

The founder, Mr. Edeh, who graduated from Enugu State University of Science and Technology in 2020 with a degree in Business Administration, has emphasized the importance of long-term value in property development.“We don’t just sell lands,” he was quoted as saying. “We sell satisfaction.”

DBEN Group also stated that it is developing estate projects that cater to infrastructural needs, including road access, drainage, and provision for electricity—especially in developing areas of Enugu and Asaba.
With the real estate sector seeing increased interest in regional hubs outside Lagos and Abuja, observers say firms like DBEN Group may play a crucial role in shaping the next wave of sustainable property development across Nigeria.
