Real Madrid Announce Alaba, Carvajal’s Departure As Mourinho Arrives

Real Madrid have announced the exit of defender David Alaba and Captain Dani Carvajal this summer.

The duo will leave the Bernabeu as free agents at the end of their current contract.

Madrid are refreshing their squad ahead of Jose Mourinho’s arrival in June.

The LaLiga giants also want to clear up space on the wage bill, following major investments in Alvaro Carreras and Huijsen last year.

Both Alaba and Carvajal will have the opportunity to bid an emotional farewell to Madridistas this weekend.

The club has already confirmed there will be a farewell ceremony at the Bernabeu before the final home match against Athletic Club.
