Real Warri Pikin Celebrates Success Of Dallas, Houston Tour

Nigerian stand-up comedian, actor and social media host, Anita Alaire Afoke Asuoha, popularly known as ‘Real Warri Pikin ’, has completed the American leg of her “In My Element Tour”, attracting large crowds in Dallas and Houston, Texas.

The sold-out shows highlighted the growing popularity of Nigerian comedy abroad.

Fans gathered for evenings of laughter, music, storytelling and cultural celebration.

Through her humour and personal experiences, Real Warri Pikin connected with audiences from different backgrounds.

The tour also featured veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD. Other performers included Kofi Da Guru and Senior Pastor. Nollywood stars Uche Jombo and Chioma Chukwuka were among the guests who attended the events.

A major highlight of the Houston show was Real Warri Pikin’s recognition by the Global African Diaspora Awards (GADA). She received the African Comedy Excellence Award for her contribution to comedy and entertainment.

The tour also served as a meeting point for Africans in the diaspora, celebrating culture, community and the growing global reach of Nigerian creative talent.
