As preparations continue as regards the forthcoming reception in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari, the international Association of World Peace Advocates IAWPA the organisers of the event has announced that the Chairman of Air Peace Allen Onyema will be among those to be honoured with the Eminent Peace Ambassador award.
IAWPA which is a member of the United Nations Global Compact in a statement released in Abuja by its International Spokesman Amb Emmanuel Nkweke said other person’s to be given the internationally acclaimed peace award are the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Farouq, the Chief Executive of National Lottery Trust Fund Maigari Dikko, High Chief Dr Richard Okozi Chairman/CEO ROKOZI Group of Companies among others.
IAWPA which also has a Special Consultative Status under the United Nations Economic and Social Council ECOSOSC since 2019 and has been in the forefront of promoting global and regional peace efforts said it is honouring the outgoing President for his efforts towards promoting peace in Africa.
The event is expected to be Chaired by the Chief Executive of Max Air Amb Dahiru Mangal and will also witness the attendance of the World Peace President Amb Per Stafsen from the Kingdom of Denmark.
