This was even as the commissioner reaffirmed his commitment to professional, proactive, people-friendly, and results-based policing in the state.

The chairman of Ezeagu local government area, Dr Vita Ndu, gave the commendation when he led a delegation of retired security chiefs under the Eche Obodo Security Group of Enugu North Senatorial Zone to see the commissioner in Enugu.

Ndu commended the commissioner for his tireless efforts in maintaining law and order in the state.
He particularly highlighted the swift response and support by the police during the recent kidnapping and ritual killing incident at Umuojor, Isiagu Umumba Autonomous Community in Ezeagu.

Also, the group of retired security chiefs, including major generals, commissioners of police, DSS directors, and immigration controllers, praised the CP’s achievements within a short period in office.
Their leader, retired Major General Godwin Ugwuoke, emphasised the visible impacts of CP Giwa’s leadership on policing in the state.
