Sanwo-Olu, Others Attend NLP Conference As Pastor Idowu’s Wife Eyes Global Gospel Mission

Dr Omowunmi Idowu has declared that the gospel will be taken “to the ends of the world” following the large turnout recorded at the 2026 Next Level Prayer (NLP) Conference held in Lagos.

The prayer gathering, convened by Bolaji Idowu, Senior Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Centre, drew thousands of worshippers to the historic Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos with many more joining online as videos and testimonies from the event circulated widely across social media.

Among dignitaries present was Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, whose attendance reflected the growing prominence of the annual prayer conference.

In a message shared on social media after the gathering, Dr Idowu paid tribute to her husband’s dedication to the Christian ministry and the spread of the gospel.

“You are by yourself a sacrifice. My tears have not stopped — so many mixed emotions,” she wrote in the widely shared post.

“What God can do through one available and spendable man… my heart is filled with gratitude and awe. Thank you for spending all for the gospel so that liberation comes to many and lives are transformed. I honour you, sir.”

She added that the mission of the movement would continue to expand beyond Nigeria.

“We will reach the ends of the world for Jesus. Until the gospel reaches all nations, we will not stop,” she said, while praying for renewed strength for the pastor.

Her message quickly gained traction online, with many followers describing it as one of the most emotional reflections to emerge from the conference.

Observers said the turnout at Tafawa Balewa Square was significant, with the venue filled to capacity and additional crowds gathered around the square to participate in the programme.

The Next Level Prayer Conference has grown steadily in recent years, attracting worshippers from across Nigeria and abroad through large-scale gatherings and digital engagement. Videos of the packed venue, worship sessions and testimonies from participants continued to circulate online hours after the event, further amplifying the conference’s reach.
