In his goodwill message, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, reaffirmed the State’s commitment to enabling private-sector-led industrial growth, noting that the Lekki axis is becoming Africa’s new manufacturing and logistics powerhouse.
“Government policy, private sector investment, a conducive environment, it creates a living body that will make businesses thrive, that will invest flourish, and that will make people want to believe in the leadership and in the future of that environment.
“For us as a government, that’s what we’re here, and that’s the commitment we want to give you here and as long as we remain here, whatever we need to give, the assurances we need to give to our investment public, the assurances we need to give to our partners, to say that it’s the best time,” he said.
Also speaking at the event, Stephen Jennings, Founder & Group CEO of Rendeavour, highlighted the strategic role of industrial and residential ecosystems, such as Alaro City, in attracting investment and strengthening Nigeria’s global trade competitiveness.
