Senator Sani Musa, chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, has sent his condolences to the family of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi and the entire Muslim Ummah, describing the cleric’s passing as a devastating blow to Islamic scholarship and moral leadership.

In his message, Senator Musa said, “Nigeria has lost a towering figure in Islamic scholarship. Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s lifetime of service, his dedication to the Qur’an, and his tireless propagation of moral values were unmatched. He was a beacon of light whose teachings promoted moderation, tolerance, and unity. His passing is a colossal loss to our nation and the Muslim world.”

He prayed to Allah (SWT) to forgive the cleric’s shortcomings, grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus, and console his family, disciples, and all who benefited from his guidance. Senator Musa emphasised that Sheikh Dahiru’s legacy will remain eternal, guiding future generations in faith and service.
