Serie A: Nigeria’s Lookman Scores In Atalanta’s Loss To Fiorentina

Ademola Lookman opened his goal account for the new season but ended up on the losing side as Atalanta went down to a 3-2 defeat to Fiorentina.

Lookman scored Atalanta’s second goal of the game in the 53rd minute.

The Nigerian international burst into the box after a one-two with Martin De Roon and drilled into the near bottom corner.

The 25-year-old was replaced by Mario Pasalic a minute before the hour mark.

Ivory Coast international Christian Kouame scored the winning goal for Fiorentina 14 minutes from time.

Atalanta will now shift attention to their UEFA Europa League clash against Rakow Czestochowa on Thursday.
