Shettima who visited Bauchi for condolences yesterday said, “With a deep sorrow and sense of responsibility  I am here with a delegation from the federal government on this solemn occasion.

“I am here to offer the deepest condolences of the government and people of Nigeria to the Ningi emirate and the government and people of Bauchi State over the loss of our revered father and leader, His Royal Highness, late Alh. Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya.”

He registered the profound support of the federal government to the new emir, Alh. Haruna Yunusa Danyaya, on his succession as the new Emir of Ningi, and commended Governor Bala  Mohammed for making a wise choice in the appointment.
