The planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain World Wide, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, who gave the advice, also called on Nigerian leaders to make deliberate efforts to improve the country.

The renowned cleric spoke in his Ido-Ekiti country home during the 2024 edition of his annual empowerment and scholarship award programme for widows, the elderly, youths, students, and vulnerable persons in society.

The man of God, who also donated an industrial borehole to the Orin Ekiti community, his mother’s hometown, gave food items, cash, and clothing materials to over 2000 widows, the elderly, and the less privileged, and presented cheques to some secondary students in Ekiti state for the payment of their WAEC fees.

Dwelling on the issue of corruption in the country, he said it has constituted a clog in the nation’s development, positing that there is no country without corruption and no country that cannot change for the better.

He noted that the bad thing about this country is the people’s erroneous belief that things cannot improve, and most leaders need more time to be ready to give their all to transform the country.

“This is a significant challenge in Nigeria, even if prayers can only solve our problems once all our leaders make deliberate efforts to transform the country.

“Most of the people in government have good thoughts but spare their time and decide that the transformation must begin with me is what they cannot do. That is precisely where our problem lies in Nigeria. Until it starts with a leader, then the challenge will end.
