Singer, Harrysong (nee Harrison Tare Okiri) has been appointed the executive assistant to the Delta State Governor, Sheriff F.O Oborevwori.

The appointment by the state government was dated December 22, 2023, from the office of the Secretary to the State Government.
Sharing the good news with his fans via a post depicting his appointment letter on January 4, 2024, Harrysong wrote, “Newly appointed E.A (executive assistant) Entertainment to the Governor of Delta State, Hon Sheriff F.O Oborevwori. Thank you my governor.
“Now address me as Hon. Superstar Harrysong. Thank you so much my governor for entrusting me with this office. Deltans, get ready for ‘Kingmaker’ on March 30th. Sheriffed and Ukodo International Festival 2024.”
