‎Nigerian skitmaker and comedian Maraji has opened up about why she chooses not to follow popular lifestyle trends, despite having the means to do so.
‎
‎In a recent video, she addressed questions about why she hasn’t travelled outside Africa, saying it’s simply not something she has ever desired.
‎
‎According to her, seeing others travel to places like London or America has never influenced her, as she deliberately avoids adopting other people’s dreams as her own.
‎
‎She shared that this mindset also shaped her approach to her wedding, revealing she had no interest in a big ceremony and questioned the need to invite large numbers of people.

‎Maraji warned against living to impress others, noting that constantly trying to match other people’s lifestyles can lead to unnecessary financial pressure.
‎
‎She also spoke about the pressure to upgrade material things, revealing she was comfortable using an older phone and didn’t see the need to change it just because she could afford a newer one.
