A Technical Working Committee tasked with the actualisation of the 9-Point Agenda outlined by the Sokoto State governor Ahmad Aliyu has been inaugurated by the State Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.

The commissioner Dr. Abubakar Mohammad Zayyana, said the aim of the move was to facilitate a better understanding of the governor’s vision and enable the line ministries to implement policies that align with the nine points agenda.

Dr. Abubakar Zayyana explained that the committee was mandated to unveil the expected outcomes of each agenda and identify some of the achievements recorded so far in each agenda, among other things.

The commissioner therefore charged committee members to work with enthusiasm for the actualisation of the committee’s set objectives for the good of the state.

The committee has Professor Abubakar Sabir Muhammad as chairman and Alhaji Sani Abdullahi, the ministry’s director of planning, as secretary.
