Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’adu Abubakar, has urged a local TV station, Qausain TV operating in Kaduna, to focus on public oriented content in its programmes.

He gave the charge while receiving the management staff of the station who paid him a courtesy visit at his palace yesterday.

He also tasked the station to maintain professionalism in informing, educating and entertaining its audience while doubling it to the general public.

In his remarks, the chairman of Qausain Group, Alhaji Nasir Musa, said the TV station would not hesitate to act on the fatherly advice given to the management, adding that it would maintain the tempo of serving the society.

The management presented an award of exceptional and excellence leadership to the Sultan.
