Mrs Foluke Tunde-Daramola, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, while  unveiling  the officials  in Akure, said it was a homecoming for the coaches.
Tunde-Daramola said Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State was a sports lover and the ministry would take advantage to develop sports in the state.
“I bring you warm greetings from our dear governor, Ayedatiwa. What we are doing here today is a big business.

“We’ve heard what everybody has been saying and the representatives of the coaches literally informed us that they are pledging their support.
“Just as the management has been doing ever since the beginning, and we keep trying to give our utmost support to ensure that our heart desires concerning this season is met and beyond too by the special grace of God.
“I want to say one thing and I’m sure it is applicable in the football space, the state government can not do these things all alone.

“We need to go out and scout for sponsors, that is why most of these states have an edge  over,” he said.
Responding, the new Sunshine Stars FC Coach, Kennedy Boboye, thanked the management of the team for giving him the opportunity to serve and lead the team again.
He sought the cooperation of everyone and promised to give his best with the support of everyone.
“I’m glad to be back home, Sunshine Stars remain in my heart, with God and the collective support of everyone, we shall succeed and achieve the desired results,” he said.
