Members and leaders of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) worldwide have marked five years of the death of T.B. Joshua, the founder of the ministry.

Worshippers from different countries attended the event in Lagos which was also showed live on Emmanuel TV.

The programme included songs, prayers and short talks about TB Joshua’s life. In a statement issued by the church, which was made available to journalists in Abuja, it said some speakers shared personal stories about how they were helped by late cleric’s ministry.

The atmosphere was calm, and many attendees sat through long sessions of music and discussion. Security and event staff managed movement as the crowd filled the church auditorium and surrounding areas.

The event was hosted by Femi Branch and Seraphine Dogbe. Gospel music was performed by Byron Cage, Christina Shusho, Kings Mumbi Malembe, and Brian Courtney Wilson.

A discussion session was also held where guests from Malawi, Colombia, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic shared their experiences.

They said they had met or heard about T.B. Joshua and spoke about his influence in their lives. The session focused on personal accounts rather than formal speeches.

A video was shown about the life of T.B. Joshua, on his early life, ministry and death. It also included a symbolic scene of his entrance into heaven, which moved many people in the audience. Reactions in the hall included silence and reflection as the video ended.

The T.B. Joshua Foundation was also mentioned. The organizers said it continues charity work through programmes that support people in need in different countries, including education and health-related assistance.

T.B. Joshua, who founded SCOAN, was remembered for his teachings and humanitarian work.

The gathering ended with reflections on his life and messages about continuing charitable activities in his memory. The event was broadcast globally and followed by viewers online who sent messages from different countries. Many described the event as a time of remembrance.
