Tade House Production in collaboration with ZivaWorks Productions has released the trailer for its new short film, My Mama Na Ashawo.
Directed by Nwamaka Chikezie, the one minute, ten seconds trailer focuses on Tejiri, a young boy whose mother is a prostitute. Forced to face the harsh realities of his mother’s life and her sacrifices for their family, he finds himself often rationalizing and explaining her situation to others in hopes of their understanding and empathy.
Starring Tonia Chukwurah, Ray Adeka, Odeigah Isioma, Zainab Popoola Franca Igwe and introducing Anointed Augustine as Tejiri, the film is written and produced by Brenda Chidimma Garuba, co-produced by Emil Garuba and Big David.
