The renewed commitment was cemented during a high-level executive visit to Dell’s regional office on June 3rd, 2025. Leading the TD Africa delegation was the company’s CEO, Chioma Ekeh, who was accompanied by senior executives from the distribution powerhouse, including the chairman of Zinox Group, Leo Stan Ekeh. The visit served not only as a celebration of a long-standing partnership but also as a forward-looking engagement to deepen collaboration and accelerate technology-driven growth across the continent.

Dr. Ekeh, during the visit emphasised the need for practical, action-oriented partnerships in the 21st-century tech landscape. “Strategy alone is not a solution in the 21st century. Take action. The result will tell the story,” he asserted, urging both organisations to remain focused on measurable impact, innovation, and operational excellence.

The visit comes at a pivotal moment for the African tech ecosystem, which continues to experience a surge in demand for digital tools, infrastructure, and capacity building, especially in underserved regions. With a shared mission to bridge the digital divide and power the future of work, TD Africa and Dell Technologies are doubling down on efforts to democratise access to transformative technologies.

Reflecting on the long and fruitful relationship between the two companies, TD Africa CEO, Ekeh highlighted the strategic importance of the alliance. “Our journey with Dell Technologies is more than just business. It’s a story of trust, growth, and shared purpose. From the very beginning, Dell Technologies has exemplified the kind of partnership we value: innovative, responsive, and deeply committed to Africa’s digital transformation. At TD Africa, we are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Dell Technologies, distributing technologies that enable transparency, empower institutions, and drive the future of work. As we look ahead, we remain steadfast in our commitment to expanding access, accelerating innovation, and amplifying impact across the continent,” she added.

On its part, Dell Technologies expressed deep appreciation for the collaboration, lauding TD Africa as a key ally in driving technology adoption and efficiency across the region.

Dell Technologies’ country lead for Nigeria, Abimbola Owoeye, said, “TD Africa remains one of our most trusted and influential distribution partners in the region. Their consistency, market insight, and integrity are unmatched. In today’s world, where integrity and innovation must go hand in hand, I firmly believe that the cure to corruption is technology, and TD Africa sits at the helm of distributing technologies that challenge inefficiency and promote accountability across Africa. We look forward to building even greater momentum together.”

The strategic meeting culminated in an alignment on key priorities for the remainder of 2025. These include expanding reach into emerging markets, launching joint capacity-building programs, and pushing deeper into critical sectors such as education, public service, and enterprise with Dell’s cutting-edge solutions.

As Africa’s digital economy continues to evolve, TD Africa’s continued engagement with global OEMs like Dell Technologies underscores its enduring mission to ensure that technology in Africa is not only accessible and affordable but also impactful and sustainable.
