The Big Issue: EP 44 – Cross River Lawmakers: Fear Grips Decampee Governors As Judiciary Holds The Ace

Today we’ll be discussing the anxiety that has enveloped the country’s political landscape following the verdict of a Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday, which declared the seats of 20 lawmakers from Cross River State vacant over their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC).  Curiously, another court today okayed Bello Matawalle, Zamfara governor’s defection to APC, and asked the PDP to pay compensation of N1million to the Governor for wasting his time.
