Tinubu Appoints New Commissioners For RMAFC

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of the new Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

According to a statement by Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, late Tuesday night, the appointees include Linda Nkechi Oti – Abia; Akpan Imo Effiong – Akwa Ibom; Enefe Ekene – Anambra; Professor Steve Ugba – Benue; Chief Eyonsa – Cross-River; Aruviere Egharhevwe – Delta, and Nduka Henry Awuregu – Ebonyi.

Others are Victor Eboigbe – Edo; Hon. Wumi Ogunlola – Ekiti; Hon. Ozo Obumreme Obodougo – Enugu; Kabir Ibrahim Mashi – Katsina; Hon. Adamu Fanda – Kano; Dr. Kunle Wright – Lagos; Aliyu Almakura Abdulkadir – Nasarawa; Bako Shetima – Niger; Samuel Durojaye – Ogun; Nathaniel Adejutelegan – Ondo; Hon. Saad Bello Ibrahim – Plateau; Modu-Aji Juluri – Yobe; Bello Rabiu Garba – Zamfara, and Mohammed Kabeer Usman – Gombe.

Ngelale said the appointments are subject to confirmation by the Senate.

“The President expects the new federal commissioners to demonstrate absolute fidelity to the nation in the discharge of their duties,” the presidential spokesman added.
