Tinubu also pledged to sustain the famous Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival, which according to him, is fostering national unity and drawing international attention to Nigeria.

He made the commendation at the weekend when he inaugurated some projects executed by Governor Idris. The projects include the modern State Secretariat, Central Motor Park and the highways in, Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

President Tinubu further lauded the governor for organising and hosting the 61st edition of Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival, especially the security measures taken and pledged to sustain the event.

” We will work jointly with the Kebbi State government to continue to support the Festival and also assist farmers with necessary inputs in order to have food sufficient in the state and the country,” Tinubu said.

“What you have done for the people of Kebbi State within two years of your administration is commendable and I cherish it, ” he added.
