They are expected to conclude deliberations on all the outstanding issues.

The minister of information and national orientation Mohammed Idris dropped the hint yesterday.

The council began its session yesterday at noon but could not complete discussions on the agenda.

The last time the cabinet meeting was held was on March 25, 2024.

Idris told State House correspondents yesterday that a number of key decisions were being considered at the two-day meeting chaired by Tinubu.

He said, “Today’s FEC is not yet concluded. The council meeting will continue tomorrow,” he stated, adding that “a lot of far-reaching decisions will be taken and it will be concluded tomorrow.”

The Federal Executive Council (FEC), also simply known as The Cabinet is the cabinet of ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and is part of the executive branch of the Government of Nigeria.

The FEC has a constitutional role in advising the President to determine the direction of government, although the President is the ultimate executive decision-maker.
