House of Representatives member, representing Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency, Hon High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu, has said the  2024 Budget presented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make Nigeria’s economy great again.

President Tinubu last Wednesday presented the 2024 Appropriation Bill (Budget Proposal) of 27.5 trillion naira to the joint session of the National Assembly, tagged ‘Budget for the Renewed Hope.’

Different reactions have continued to trail the budget presentation with some describing the appropriation bill as deceitful, while others believed it was well packaged to fast-track economic growth and tackle the myriad of challenges bedevilling the country to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

Hon Nwachukwu in a media chat in Abuja, said that the 2024 budget of renewed hope presented to the joint session of the National Assembly by President Bola Tinubu will hopefully stabilise all our micro and macroeconomic indicators positively.

He said, “The budget is the greatest thing that has ever happened to Nigeria. Adding that naturally, president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a co democrat and it is good to judge people through their track records and antecedents.

“The budget is good and it has an attitude of diversification when you clearly have a good look at it.

“Nigeria runs a mono economy which means everything is based on crude oil but when you look at that particular budget been presented by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, it has a clear content of diversification which means that every other aspect of economy is touched and by so doing you will see that every aspect of economy will strive within the specified period of time.”
