The paramount ruler and Soun of Ogbomosoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Alayeluwa Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, has extended his warm congratulations to Agba-akin of Ogbomoso, Hon. Sunday Dare, on his new appointment as Special Adviser on Public Orientation and Communication to President Bola Tinubu.

The first-class monarch said Ogbomosoland was grateful to President Tinubu for recognising the former Minister of Sports, noting that his choice was a reflection of the President’s commitment to excellence.

In a statement personally signed by Oba Ghandi, he said: “We are grateful to President Tinubu for recognizing Chief Dare’s exceptional professionalism, competence and expertise, forged through his academic pursuits at Harvard, Oxford and New York universities. As a renowned media and communication expert, a distinguished son of Ogbomoso, a polyglot who understands the southern and northern terrains of the country, Chief Sunday Dare’s appointment underscores the President’s commitment to excellence.

“The people of Ogbomosoland enthusiastically welcome this appointment, confident that Chief Dare’s wealth of experience as a successful journalist, former Minister, NCC Executive, a former Chief of Staff to the President back in Lagos, a renowned son and the Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland will significantly enhance the Tinubu administration in public communication and orientation.

“On behalf of the good people of Ogbomosoland, we sincerely thank Mr. President and wish Hon. Sunday Dare a successful and impactful tenure.”
