‘Tinubu’s Assent To S/East Commission Laudable’

A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe, has said President Bola Tinubu’s  signing of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) Bill into law, will  significantly address the unique developmental challenges faced by the people of the South East region.

Okelekwe, while commending President Bola Tinubu for signing the South East Development Commission (SEDC) Bill into law, said it will promote economic growth, infrastructure development, and social well-being in the area.

Okelekwe, APC’s senatorial candidate for Anambra Central in the 2023 general election, said Tinubu’s assent to the SEDC bill demonstrates his unwavering commitment  to development and unity across the country.

The APC leader also lauded the deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu and the South East caucus, in the House, for sponsoring the SEDC bill, which is aimed at addressing the developmental challenges in the South East geo political zone.

Okelekwe, in a statement, said “President  Bola Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to fostering sustainable development and unity across the nation is truly commendable, and his support for the South East region through this important legislation is a testament to his dedication to national progress and inclusivity.
