Toni Kroos Set For Real Madrid Return

Former Germany midfielder Toni Kroos could be set for an emotional return to Real Madrid.

According to The Athletic, Kroos is in discussions with the LaLiga giants over a new role with key responsibilities.

The 36-year-old played for Madrid before he retired at the end of the 2024 European Championship.

Since stepping away from the professional game, his focus has been on the Toni Kroos Academy, which opened in September 2024.

Madrid are keen for Kroos to join their sporting structure, in a role similar to the one Zinedine Zidane took.
