A statement by the Nigerian Army on its social media handles, Wednesday night, said troops on 14 August, 2024 while acting on credible intelligence on terrorists’ activities, carried out an ambush along Kwana Uri village in Giwa local government area of Kaduna State.

The Army said two terrorists were neutralised during a fierce gun battle that followed while survivors from the encounter scampered into nearby bushes.
