United States President, Donald Trump, has issued a grave warning to Iran, declaring that the country’s “entire civilization could be wiped out” if its leadership fails to reach an agreement with Washington before a set deadline.
Speaking over the weekend, Trump said Iran had until Tuesday, 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time (1:00 a.m. WAT), to make what he described as a “revolutionary” deal or face severe consequences.
In a post shared on his Truth Social platform shortly before the deadline, the U.S. leader painted a dire picture of the potential fallout.
“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” Trump wrote.
The statement marks one of the strongest warnings yet from the U.S. president amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, raising concerns across the international community about the possibility of a major geopolitical crisis.
