Grammy-winning South African singer, Tyla has dropped the official video of her new single ‘Dynamite’ featuring Nigerian Afrobeats artiste, Wizkid.
The music video comes several weeks after Tyla posted on a few lyrics from the song on X, where she admitted she had worked on the song with Wizkid a few years before.
Dynamite’s visual concept though simple has an understated fun and unique colouring. Lyrically, it is focused on a female endowments, sex talk and the banter between opposite sex. Quite impressive is Tyla’s rendition of her parts in the song in Naija accent, the adjusting of her vocals to fit Wizkid’s, alongside its rhythmic beat, and catchy chorus.
Beyond racking up 1.3 million views post its release on ‘Water’ crooner’s YouTube page, the song is being highlighted by Netizens as one of the many potential results of a collaboration between South Africans and Nigeria, should they choose friendship and neighbourliness over hate and xenophobia.
