Flying Eagles Coach Ladan Bosso and his South Korean counterpart Kim Eun-joong are losing sleep over how best to tackle the quarterfinal clash on their table.
Flying Eagles rose above initial permutations to sack hosts Argentina with an emphatic 2-0 win in the round of 16 to earn a place in the quarterfinals. South Korea on the otherhand survived nail biting encounter against Ecuador to book a place.
Now both coaches are watching their dinner go cold as they process ideas on how best to emerge victorious for a place in the semifinal. Bosso said his technical team have been watching the Koreans and have a good idea of how to tackle them.
“We are delighted to have executed a perfect game plan against Argentina. Our strategy and tactics worked out and the boys worked very hard,” Bosso told thenff com.
“Now, we have to concentrate on what to expect from the Koreans. We have been watching their games at this championship and we have a good idea how to prepare for them.”
If Bosso thinks he is the only one that has been watching the Koreans he is certainly wrong as Kim Eun-joong equally revealed the same thing submitting that the Nigerian side seem to be well prepared.
“When I watched the game against Argentina yesterday, the Nigerian team seemed to be very well prepared,” Eun-joong was quoted by Chosun as saying
“Players in all positions are physically outstanding and have flexibility. We will do the analysis properly. “he hinted.
Sunday’s encounter is billed for Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades in Santiago Del Estero
