The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Jos (UNIJOS) ChapterĀ  has declared an indefinite withdrawal of services following the non-payment of March 2026 salaries and the exclusion of the Earned Academic Allowance (EAA).

ASUU in a statement released yesterday byĀ  Prof Jurbe Molwus directed its members to immediately halt lectures, examinations and statutory meetings.

The decision brought academic activities at the university to a standstill, leaving students uncertain about the continuation of the academic calendar.
