The chairman of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) Cross River State branch, Comrade Monday Ogbodum, has called on the national leadership of the union to address alleged illegalities and unconstitutional activities surrounding the state delegates’ conference.
Ogbodum made the call during an interactive session with newsmen yesterday in Calabar.
He urged the national leadership to allow the consensus lists adopted at the constituted SEC meeting to prevail.
He also advocated for the setting up of a 3-man committee, comprising uninterested and unbiased veterans, to assist resolve the issues before rescheduling the conference.
