The African Continental Chapter of UNIPGC paid a condolence visit to the former Vice President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency, Chief Dr Jewel Howard Taylor, at her residence in Monrovia, Liberia, on Friday, 18th April, 2026.
The high-level delegation was led by the UNIPGC Global President, His Excellency, Dr Jonathan Ojadah, in the presence of Her Excellency, Amb. Dr Roseline Adedoyin Amangbo, Vice President, UNIPGC Africa,
Chief Amb. Dr Gbenro Oladipupo, Secretary General, UNIPGC Africa, Dr Sophie Kirorei, Matron, UNIPGC Kenya, Dr Joshua Ole Kaputah, Country Director, UNIPGC Kenya, Rev Graced Grace.
Upon arrival in Monrovia, Liberia, the delegation paid a courtesy call to the Nigerian High Commission.
The visit was to commiserate with Her Excellency and extend the organization’s solidarity, prayers, and support during this period of bereavement.
During the visit, Amb. Dr. Ojadah conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the UNIPGC global family, lauding Vice President Taylor’s resilience, statesmanship, and unwavering commitment to peace, governance, and the empowerment of women and youth across Africa.
In her response, Jewel Howard Taylor expressed gratitude to the UNIPGC delegation for the show of love and solidarity, noting that such gestures strengthen the bonds of Pan-African unity and shared humanity.
The visit underscores UNIPGC’s commitment to standing with African leaders and citizens in moments of both triumph and trial, as part of its mandate to promote peace, good governance, and humanitarian values across the continent.
