Valencia are reportedly set to make a move for Real Sociedad forward Umar Sadiq when the January transfer window opens.
Sadiq previously enjoyed a productive loan spell with Los Ches during the latter half of last season, netting five goals in 16 league appearances for Carlos Corberan’s side. However, a permanent transfer agreement with Real Sociedad could not be reached in the summer.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Valencia are looking to strengthen their squad to improve their performance in the second half of the season. The Nigerian international is also understood to be keen on a return to Mestalla.
Los Ches currently sit in 17th position in La Liga. Sadiq has made five league appearances for Real Sociedad this season.
