The Warri International Film Festival (WARRIFF) has opened a call for film submissions for its 2026 edition.
The festival is calling on filmmakers across Nigeria, Africa, and the world to submit original, bold, and impactful films for screening consideration at the festival, scheduled to hold from December 8 to 12, 2026, in Warri, Delta State.
Categories for submission include feature, short, documentary, student, and experimental films, as well as skits.
According to organisers, WARRIFF is no mere festival; rather, it is ‘a meeting point for voices, visions, and stories that matter. From compelling feature films to daring shorts, documentaries, experimental works, engaging masterclasses, panels, and networking. We celebrate cinema that reflects culture, challenges norms, and sparks meaningful conversations.’
