Transcorp Hilton Abuja has clarified the circulating reports about a recent water supply disruption at the hotel, confirming that the issue was limited to a single day and has since been fully resolved.

The hotel said the disruption stemmed from unscheduled emergency maintenance works carried out by the Federal Capital Territory Water Board (FCTWB), which began on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

It further said that such interventions are not uncommon in Abuja, where the city’s water infrastructure occasionally requires urgent repairs to prevent broader outages amid growing demand from residents, businesses, and tourists.

The hotel’s general manager, Martin Zarybnickys said the management activated comprehensive contingency measures, including backup water reserves and alternative supply systems.

These steps ensured that guests’ comfort remained uncompromised, with all services—from room amenities to dining outlets—continuing without interruption throughout the 24-hour period.

Zarybnicky, emphasised in the signed statement that water supply was completely restored by Wednesday, April 15, 2026. “Contrary to false and misleading narratives spreading on social media platforms, there have been no further interruptions,” the statement noted. Since restoration, the five-star property has operated at full capacity, upholding its reputation for seamless hospitality in Nigeria’s capital.

Transcorp Hilton Abuja, reiterated its commitment to the highest standards of service. The hotel expressed gratitude to guests, partners, and stakeholders for their patience and support during the brief inconvenience.
