The Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa, has assured that military personnel will soon flush out criminals, especially bandits, Lakurawa, and others, in the country.

He made the assurance when he led senior military officers to a courtesy call to Governor Nasir Idris at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.

He said, ” We are aware of banditry and Lakurawa activities in the northwest zone of the country and the efforts of Governor Idris and your colleagues in assisting our men with logistics and mobility to confront the bandits whenever they attack innocent people, which is very commendable.”

“So, Your Excellency, we still need your support as usual to eliminate these criminals from the country, ” he added.

He urged the government and people of Kebbi State to always inform the military personnel about the whereabouts of the bandits or attacks in their communities.

Responding, Governor Nasir Idris thanked the CDS, Musa, for attending the traditional rulers’ assembly meeting, Kebbi 2025 and the courtesy call at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi.

Governor Idris also commended the CDS and his colleagues for their various interventions in securing people’s lives and properties.
