Wema Bank has emerged as the No. 1 Best Workplace in Nigeria at the Great Place To Work (GPTW) 2024 Awards, given its commitment to employee well-being and innovative work culture.

The Great Place To Work Awards, held in Lagos, honoured Wema Bank for its exceptional employee support, work-life balance, and mental health initiatives.

The award noted that the bank prioritises its employees’ overall well-being, providing a range of benefits and programmes.

GPTW is the global authority on workplace culture, reputed for its role in promoting healthy work culture by assessing organisational culture from the perspective of the employees, celebrating organisations that demonstrate commitment to employee wellbeing, and challenging other organisations to improve on their support efforts.

It derives insights on organisational culture through a rigorously developed employee survey called, Trust Index Survey, which has become the global standard for assessing workplace culture, leadership impact, and overall employee experience.

GPTW award is determined by employee’s feedback, and organisations that pass the benchmark gets certification.

Wema Bank’s MD/CEO, Moruf Oseni, dedicated the award to the bank’s employees, praising their loyalty and commitment.
