The governor said people of Yobe State are fully aware of the role played by the armed forces of Nigeria in the restoration of the relative peace being enjoyed across the state hence their resolve to supporting and assisting the security operatives through whatever means.

“As we march from the negative effect of insurgency in Yobe State, we appreciate the commendable role played by the Nigerian armed forces in the restoration of peace and security across the state.

“It is gratifying that we now enjoy relative peace with our people moving freely and engaging in legitimate activities across the state without hindrance. We therefore, have to pay the glowing tribute to all the security operatives especially those who pay the supreme price of good over evil.
