The chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Stanel Group made the remark at the just-concluded annual event with the theme, “Networking The Nations CEO Summit” organised by Liberty University in Virginia, United States of America where former U.S. president Donald Trump, his Vice, Mike Pence and other world leaders were in attendance last year.

The largest Christian University in the world extended invitation to Uzochukwu and other world business leaders from across different continents to speak on relationship between African CEOs and U.S. CEOs.

Uzochukwu stressed that the negative perception of Nigeria and her citizens at the international level is far from the truth, noting that there are good Nigerians and that the country remained a great investment hub for international investors.

His speech reads in part: “I am profoundly honoured and deeply humbled by this unique opportunity to speak to this gathering of the most accomplished personalities in the world today.

“As you are aware I come from a country that defines the word paradox, Nigeria despite the obvious economic and security challenges, remains one of the world’s most endowed nations in terms of human and natural resource capital. It’s home to some of the most self-assured productive and creative youths you can find anywhere.

“I am not oblivious of the negative perception of our nation that has been created by a handful of perfidious brothers and sisters of mine in the international community.

“I however aver to you, that they in no way represent that character of the average Nigerians.”

The Stanel boss also disclosed that apart from his interest in oil and gas industry and other sectors, he has ventured into hospitality industry with a Five-Star hotel built in Lagos, Nigeria.

He said, “We have also ventured into the hospitality industry where we have built a state of the art super luxury hotel brand in Victoria Island Lagos. We built the super luxury brand for topmost elites of society. We are presently working on the construction of the Anambra state industrial layout where we are doing a backward integration, creating job opportunities for many.”

Uzochukwu was a Guest Speaker alongside with Matt Whitaker, U.S. Attorney General, H.E John Dramani Mahama, former President of Ghana, Dr Cosmas Maduka CEO of Cosharis Group, Jerry Prevo, President of Liberty University, Dr. Dave Brat, former Congressman and Dean School of Business, Liberty University, among a host of others at the event.
