However, the Organised Labour has given reasons for accepting the N70,000 new minimum wage as approved by President Bola Tinubu approved on Thursday.

President of the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero told journalists briefly after labour’s meeting with the federal government that the unions had accepted the offer.

Ajaero said the labour centres agreed to the offer because of other incentives attached.

He gave another reason for accepting the offer to the promise made by President Tinubu to a review of the minimum wage every three years against what obtained in the past.
