Work For Adamawa’s Interest, Deputy Gov Challenges Speaker

Adamawa State deputy governor, Kaletapwa Farauta has tasked state House of Assembly speaker, Hon Bathiya Wesley to work for the interest of the state and its people.

Farauta appreciated the speaker and the Lutheran Church of Christ Hong during thanksgiving service in his honour in Hong LGA of the state.

She said the reelection of the lawmaker is a blessing not just for the speaker, but the entire state.

The deputy governor reiterated Fintiri’s administration patterning with the Assembly for the overall development of the state.

“Time of politics is over; all hands must be on deck to develop the state. We need to rally round the speaker for him to deliver his work to the state,” she added.

The immediate past secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), Mr Boss Gida Mustapha, charged him to be fair to his colleagues and all manner of people.

Mustapha thanked state legislators for electing Wesley and acknowledged the role played by Governor Fintiri for his emergence as the speaker.
