A former local government chairman in Adamawa State who also contested for the House of Representatives seat of Numan, Demsa and Lamurde federal constituency, Hon Vrati Nzonzo, has called on former vice president Atiku Abubakar and former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, to close rank and work with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Both Atiku and Obi were presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party respectively in the February 25, 2023 election, who after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Tinubu winner of the race, pursued their cases up to the Supreme Court and lost.

Nzonzo said that now that politics is over, with the verdict of the apex court, all patriotic Nigerians should join hands with Tinubu to rebuild Nigeria.

Nzonzo praised Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election as credible and undisputed, highlighting it as a clear indication of the people’s choice.
