WorldFish, an international, nonprofit research and innovation organization, has announced the appointment of Dr. Charles Iyangbe as its new Country Representative for Nigeria. With over 25 years of leadership experience in international development and agribusiness, Dr. Iyangbe will spearhead WorldFish’s strategy to enhance aquaculture productivity, support smallholder farmers, and transform Nigeria’s aquatic food systems for improved nutrition, health, and livelihoods.

Dr. Iyangbe brings a wealth of experience from several high-profile international organizations. He joins WorldFish from Abt Global, where he served as the Global Business Development Executive for West Africa.
