“At the end of the training, participants are expected to be well trained and each capable of training one person and continuously for the knowledge acquired to spread among the existing small and medium enterprises in the form of a revolving cycle of train-the-trainers programme for increased productivity and wealth creation in the state,” he said.

The senior special assistant to Governor Buni on wealth creation, empowerment and employment generation, Hon Abdullahi Bego while speaking said the training by the foundation was in line with governor Buni’s empowerment drive through special support and interventions to SMEs among other citizens.

Bego stated that “The beneficiaries of this training by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation were selected by the ministry in conjunction with the amalgamated association of SMEs in Yobe State based on their skills and area of specialisations for better results.”
