The commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Adamu Jajere, gave the warning during an unscheduled inspection and monitoring tour of ongoing township roads and drainage construction sites in Bursari, Tarmuwa and Nangere local government areas.

He explained that, the inspection exercise is part of the ministry’s continuous supervision efforts aimed at ensuring strict compliance with project standards, specifications, and timelines.

According to him, the Governor Mai Mala Buni–led administration remains steadfast in its commitment to infrastructure development and improving the living conditions of people at the grassroots level.

He added that, “ The government has zero tolerance for substandard work. Every kobo spent must reflect in the quality and durability of the projects.

“However, all contractors and supervising engineers must therefore ensure full compliance with specifications.”
