YPP To Police: Investigate Attack On Our Chairman’s Residence

The Young Progressive Party (YPP) has called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba to investigate an attack on the residence of its national chairman, Bishop Amakiri.

The party in a tweet on its official handle, @YPPNational, said criminals in Abuja attacked the house of their national chairman.

“The attack on the YPP National Chairman, Comr Bishop Amakiri at his residence by armed criminals dressed in Police uniforms is despicable, “ the party said.

“The state of insecurity is deteriorating by the day with no solution in sight. We call on the @PoliceNG to bring these criminals to justice, “ the party said.

Also, the national chairman of the YPP, Bishop Amakiri who confirmed the incident to LEADERSHIP described the incident as unfortunate.

Amakiri also called on the Police to beef up security around him.
