The Zamfara State Police Command has commenced the 2026 Police Constable Recruitment Examination for shortlisted candidates across the state.
A statement signed by the spokesperson of the command, DSP Yazid Abubakar, and made available to the journalists in Gusau, said the examination has been structured into four batches, with each batch comprising 500 candidates.
“The exercise has so far been conducted in a transparent, orderly, and hitch-free manner.
“As part of efforts to ensure compliance with established standards, the commissioner of police, Zamfara State Command, CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello, paid an inspection visit to the examination venue, encouraged the candidates to remain focused, disciplined and committed to giving their best in the exercise.
“The commissioner further issued a stern warning against all forms of examination malpractice and other unethical practices, emphasising that such acts will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” he said.
“The Command wishes to inform the general public that the examination will continue as scheduled. All invited candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the rules and guidelines governing the exercise”
